Their parents are Sue and Kevin Kotwitz, Janesville; Virginia and the late Edward Bladorn, Janesville; and the late Joseph Balsamo.

The bride graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 1997, received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from UW-Whitewater in 2002 and a master’s degree from National Louis University in 2007. She is employed by the Janesville School District as a kindergarten teacher at Monroe Elementary School.

The groom graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 1990 and received a degree in political science from Blackhawk Technical College in 1994. He is employed by Chrysler, Belvidere, Ill.

The newlyweds reside in Janesville.

BELOIT—Karren and Robert Hein will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the Butterfly Club.

Hein and Karren Mae Schaap were married May 4, 1962, in Sioux Falls, S.D. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville. She is retired from Prent, Janesville.

Their family includes Kimberly and Tom Mann, DeSoto; Kevin Hein, Janesville; and Kellie Hein, Machesney Park, Ill. They also have two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
